Terms of Use

These conditions apply whenever you browse, read, or use a search feature on the site. Continued access means you accept them. If you disagree, do not continue using the service.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated resource has no affiliation with Adams County, Nebraska, or any other government body. Neither it nor its advertising partners provide a service for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other Fair Credit Reporting Act purposes. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of every government office. It does not store official criminal records, obtain records for a visitor, conduct an official check, or file legal papers.

Its content identifies access routes maintained by the Adams County Sheriff, Adams County and District Courts, Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on the following limits. You may not:

  • Use the site in violation of federal, Nebraska, or local law
  • Threaten, stalk, or harass another person with information found here
  • Use site content for an FCRA-regulated decision
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into a system or account
  • Deploy bots, scrapers, or other automated extraction tools
  • Disrupt performance or prevent access by other visitors

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information reached here or through a linked tool must not be used to stalk, intimidate, threaten, harass, or unlawfully discriminate. Nebraska Sex Offender Registry data is published for public safety. The Nebraska State Patrol warns that retaliation, vandalism, threats, or other misuse directed at a listed person or family can lead to arrest and prosecution.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not produce credit reports, background checks, or consumer reports. The same limitation applies to how data from the site and linked tools may be used. You may not use it to:

  • Make an employment decision
  • Evaluate a housing application
  • Set credit or insurance terms
  • Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or benefit when regulated by law
  • Carry out any other FCRA-governed purpose

A legally required official record should be obtained through the Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division or another properly authorized, compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

General Adams County record information is not legal advice. Only a licensed Nebraska attorney can advise how a charge, warrant, conviction, or set-aside rule applies to a specific matter.

6. No Warranties

All material is provided "as is." No promise is made that:

  • Partner results will be complete or accurate
  • Every published detail will always be current
  • Operation will be uninterrupted
  • The service will contain no errors or security weakness

Criminal files change as charges, dismissals, corrections, restrictions, and set-aside orders are entered. Gaps can occur. Site content is never an official statement by a court, sheriff, or agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

A link may open an official agency, court portal, legal resource, or outside search service. Its operator controls availability, content, data handling, pricing, and terms. We are not responsible for any of those outside practices.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Adams County Criminal History or the applicable content partner. Written permission is required to copy, distribute, alter, or create derivative work from them.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from site use, linked services, or reliance on information found through either.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, proceedings, fees, and related costs caused by your use of the site or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Nebraska law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from site use must be brought in a court located in Nebraska. The Nebraska Public Records Law and Neb. Rev. Stat. §29-3523 govern government-record access and dissemination, not ownership or operation of this private site.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. A revision becomes effective when posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be suspended or ended at any time, with or without prior notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. The affected language will be narrowed only as needed to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be submitted through the Contact page.
